So, sometimes we like to do things differently in the Academia team and here is a great example!
As part of our recruitment drive for internships at Microsoft in the UK we will be hosting a "Pitch Your Passion" series of events in which students can present themselves to a host of MS managers to try and secure one of four specific intern placements we have made available. There are no CVs, no application forms - this is all about telling us why they want to work at Microsoft - with just 7 minutes to complete the pitch and show their passion! There are four locations that students can attend (Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Warwick) and use their presentation skills and passion for technology to really shine. The first event will start on 1st February.
