I have been busy gearing up recently on preparing for video interviews with key Public Sector related folks within Microsoft; and I am delighted to provide the first of my efforts here for your viewing pleasure...comments appreciated on this, and on anything else you would like to hear about please!

John Black is our newly installed Industry Technology Strategist for Defense and Public Safety, based in Redmond, WA, but with a worldwide remit to support the field in their activities.  He has a distinguished career both as a technical guy, specializing in Knowledge Management, and also in the US Military.

What excited me most about the things we discussed was the topic of responding to global crises - specifically things like Katrina; you get from him a real sense of what it must be like to manage the control of information and timely decision making on the ground.
